Job Description

Join our geoscience teams in Denmark!
You will integrate a transverse activity that requires interactions with:
 

  • Geosciences and Reservoir Studies and Projects Manager teams working on NSR projects in Hub.
  • Other IGR team member for data integration and harmonization of the practices, in particular other GIS people.
  • Technical advisors in Geoinformation and GIS

 
Your principal goals will be: 
 

  • A close contact for the Geosciences teams.
  • A coherent and optimized activity between IGR and Geosciences teams.
  • Geoinformation services suited to the needs of the E&P studies, optimized in cost and quality in the respect of the métier rules.

 
You will have the following responsibilities:
 

  • In close collaboration with the end users (Geologists, geophysicists, reservoir engineers), to analyze the best means to represent and give access to geographical information.
  • To build / publish on Web map documents and systems (GIS) at all scales and in all geodetic systems, from the data bases, honoring the established standards and rules.
  • To manage regional mapping projects knowing how to analyze, organize and structure geosciences and reservoir data.
  • To realize any type of geodetic computation.
  • To give access to the geo-referenced information to end users, honoring the rules of security and confidentiality.
  • To clean the GIS project in collaboration with the end users.
  • To control the compliance of the GIS services with the referential and technical workflows.
  • Implement best practices in GIS.
  • Realize reports of the GIS activities.

Desired qualifications:
Geological Engineering Master Degree 
 
Technical skills:
Good geological background in order to build geological maps, regional synthesis maps etc. 
 
Computing skills:
 

  • Office suite
  • ESRI suite (Arcgis, Arcsde)

Knowledge of ETL tools like FME and python script will be a plus.
 
Languages: 
English fluent
French intermediate (B1 minimum)
