About the department The Quality Control Solutions department is part of the Manufacturing IT area in Corporate IT. The department is responsible for systems used in the Quality Control laboratories all across Novo Nordisk globally. You get the opportunity to work with a highly dedicated global team in Bagsværd, Denmark, with daily collaboration with users, colleagues, and stakeholders across the global organisation as well as with vendors. The job The candidate will work with smaller projects and daily system management tasks. Examples of tasks are Assist in investigating best practices for ensuring high user satisfaction on global service desk support. Build a strategy and drive a Global Service Desk improvement project for GxP systems. Be responsible for updating the intranet (Share Point) portal front-page designs. Assist in investigating and making a future training strategy for a GXP regulated system. Incident / problem process monitoring. The possibility for working with IT qualification documentation will also be a possibility depending on qualification and personal drive and competencies. As part of the internship, the candidate will work with and be introduced to important areas of managing IT in the pharmaceutical industry, such as ITIL processes and GXP regulations. Qualifications We are looking for an intern with passion for IT service processes, and the interplay between business and IT. You are currently studying your master’s degree within IT, web technology, communication or another relevant field. You must have strong communication and general IT/Microsoft Office capabilities. It is a benefit if you have insight into SharePoint, corporate use of IT, ITIL processes, process optimisation, project management and organisation change management. Coding abilities are not required. We expect the candidate to be service-minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Ability to manage a large volume of tasks (with supervision), fluency in both oral and written English, sound personal judgement and excellent interpersonal skills are required. You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. Practicalities Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months. Start date: 1st September 2015.
