Do you have extensive people management experience enabling you to lead, motivate and develop a team? Do you have great interpersonal skills? Would you like to play a significant part in executing training to our Technicians and Supervisors?

MHI Vestas is looking for a new Manager responsible for training skillset and training administration. You will join Technical & Safety Training within Operations at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark.

Tasks & responsibilities: You will...

...be people manager of a group of instructors and training administrators, and your primary responsibility will be to lead, motivate and develop your team and support them in their work. You will secure smooth daily operation of technical and safety training and lay down a strategy to meet future training demands. It will also be your responsibility to plan training activities in new markets and develop a standard for mobile training logistics. You will improve administrative procedures and ensure continuous update of existing training material for all technical courses in Operations. You will also be in charge of stakeholder management towards training providers and maintain/update agreements to favour MHI Vestas' needs in cooperation with Sourcing.

You will also be responsible for:

• Conduct regular 1:1 meeting with employees
• Execution of HR processes: People Review, Merit, Motivation and Performance Dialogue
• Support daily operation of training execution incl. handling of issues and challenges
• Coordination and planning of instructor resources incl. arranging field experience
• Analyse future training demands based on organisational needs to be proactive and strategic in planning situations
• Approve time registration and travel expenses for employees
• Initiate and support continuous updates of existing training material with technical courses
• Lead Training Need Analysis based on requests to comply with organisational needs.
• Reports and statistics on training execution
• Support the department manager in driving management related tasks and training strategy
