We are looking for a Modern Workplace IT, Product Owner who will be part of an agile environment and can set the direction for the applications and the user experience of our employees to improve the digital workplace in Milestone. This includes devices (computers, phones), standard applications and services such as e.g. Office365.

THE TEAM

You will be part of Business Engagement and Architecture team located in Brøndby. The team is part of Global IT and works to ensure that business capabilities are adequately supported with digital tools and drives the digitization of Milestone. Being a partner for sparring on technology and solutions, we are bringing clarity and direction on business needs, architecture and technology.

You will be working closely with the Service Desk team and other teams in IT, all working to extend and maintain images, configuration of solutions and services on the digital workplace that are impacting the user experience. Ensuring that we as a company are providing a digital workplace that enables our employees to perform and be productive.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

You will be analyzing the impact of change for the employees and ensure that the communication and training is made. Stakeholder management is a critical part of the job, ensuring the needs coming from multiple departments is anchored, transparency is created and dialog with the key stakeholders in the organization is made.

To translate business needs into solutions you will be making a difference by co-editing the justifications and need abstractJV_descriptions for initiatives by:

  • (The why – Epics) writing the requirements and business success criteria for team deliverables
  • (The “big” what – Features) breaking down the value that can be delivered within a sprint
  • (The “value” what – User Story) Setting the direction for the team ensuring that the team can design, build, test and deliver the solution (the how – task)

Finally, will you be maintaining a prioritized backlog based on business priorities and technical needs. Ensuring transparency toward the business and clarity towards the implementation team.

WHO ARE YOU?

The ideal candidate for this role will have a vocational upper secondary education or a degree in Engineering/ Computer Science with 4+ years of experience from the IT industry. Further, do you preferably have 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, working with agile methodologies providing digital workplace to an enterprise organization.

  • Strong understanding of IT functions and processes
  • Enjoys hand-on exploring new functionality and opportunities within applications
  • Deep passion for user experience and technology
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development practices, Kanban and Scrum
  • Solid technical experience from teams delivering preconfigured and managing devise on a corporate level

As a person you are curious and have a strong interest for applications and technology. You are able to keep calm, listen and understand business needs, using a balanced approached to people and needs. The right candidate also comes with:

  • You are extrovert and passionate about improvements and knows how they integrate with business process
  • You are structured and capable of setting a clear direction for a team
  • You speak business with IT and technology with the Business
  • Excellent communication skills and English at high level, both written and verbal
