Use your people management skills at the very forefront of the offshore wind industry

Are you looking for a career at the forefront of the offshore wind industry? Do you have excellent people management skills, and do you want the opportunity to apply these in an exciting and fast-paced environment?

You will work on different projects on our sites which means that you should expect up to 180 travel days per year. You will be hired either from our office in Aarhus, DK, or Warrington, UK. The position can be onshore or offshore, and you will work with one or more Technicians in a team where you will act as the Offshore Supervisor AT (Authorised Technician).

Tasks & responsibilities: You will...

...execute defined special project tasks on WTGs (wind turbine generators) within our Operations department. The projects will for example be Upgrade and Retrofit campaigns, Main Component Exchanges and Blade campaigns throughout the MHI Vestas Offshore WTG fleet. You will work closely with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders, overseeing that all AT tasks are carried out successfully in a safe and timely manner. At the same time, you will act as a supervisor for the Technicians executing the given tasks on the turbine.

You will also be responsible for:

• Ensure a safe work practice by complying with our HSE requirements
• Ensure that your own P.P.E. checks are executed, and monthly check sheets are logged
• Daily communication with Service Manager, Special Projects Supervisors and Project Managers
• Identify, register and manage deviations
• Maintain turbines and equipment
• Plan resources, tools, documentation and spare parts on a daily basis
• Allocate tasks to the work party and conduct Tool-box talks etc.

Skills & experience: Our new colleague...

...is excited about the offshore wind industry and has high quality and safety standards. You hold a technical education (preferably electrical) and it would be an advantage if you have LOTO and technical experience within the wind turbine industry. We also expect that you have excellent communication skills and can motivate and encourage your team of Technicians. You are a responsible and hard-working team player, who can take the lead and keep the overview even in hectic periods.
