For our Process department at the Blade factory in Aalborg, we are seeking an employee to support and solve after-treatment and repair tasks for composite materials. You will mainly be involved in providing solutions and support to the global factories in order to help them in their daily processes. The department is responsible for the development, specification, qualification and optimization of production methodology and equipment in order to support daily production globally. We are a department that offers exciting tasks, great colleagues, and challenges ranging from minor problems to major projects in cooperation with the global technical organization. The organization is dynamic and provides excellent possibilities for further development and career opportunities for each individual. What are my responsibilities? Development and specifications of the surface process and its equipment Testing and qualification of equipment, material and processes Documentation of processes in cooperation with the Documentation department Definition of process specifications and associated control issues You will mainly be working on tasks concerning the processes involved in composite surface treatment such as filler, paint and new surface treatment methods What do I need to qualify for this job? We expect you to have an education as an engineer and/or shipbuilder or similar technical competences, and a high level of experience in the field of composite materials. Furthermore, experience with IPC – inline process control will be considered an advantage. You will be required to personally visit our global sites, and you should expect travel of 10-20% on a yearly basis. In addition, you are: Excellent in putting ideas into practice Excellent in English Good in conveying practical and theoretical knowledge in the form of training and education Skilled in IT Able to work in both production and administration Always positive, well balanced and highly motivated In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
