About the Position

Are you ready to give our wind turbine blades the final touch?
For our Post and Surface Treatment Team we are looking for a Process Engineer within Final assembly, drilling, machining, weighing and balancing. Here the key is to develop new and improve our current processes and support production. 

Approximately 20 travel days a year are to be expected.
  

What are my responsibilities?

•  Development of new & improvement of existing Final assembly processes in wind turbine blade production eg. drilling, machining, weighing and balancing
•  Support factories everyday production, across continents
•  Ensure standardized production across the world through documentation and support
•  Develop processes for new projects, plants and blades
•  Design and document "critical to-parameters" for processes within scope of work
•  Testing of new processes in small laboratory scale to full production scale
•  Risk mitigation in the process development and in production based on PFMEA & Risk assessments
•  Develop documentation for production processes (work instruction, P-FMEA, Risk assessments)
•  Implementation of processes at production plant
•  Support root cause analysis
•  Ensure Best Practice sharing across plants and product portfolio
•  Collaborate with supplier’s technical staff
•  Collaborate with other internal departments e.g. the technology department and the quality department

  

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have worked with production processes and, hold an engineering degree (eg. Mechanical, production, chemical or similar), graduate in production technology, or have experience from similar position
• You must be familiar with Risk assessment and FMEA
• You have a structured hands on approach to problems
• You have a structured approach to your work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview
• You possess the ability to both work independently and in teams
• It is an advantage if you have industry experience and experience with composites
• You have great English skills both orally and in writing
