Brief abstractJV_description

You will be part of the global Procurement organization including 900 people, where you organizationally will belong to the Group Logistics & Services categories team of 7 people in Denmark, who manage the global categories as Indirect, Travel, Logistics, Warehouse/Packaging, Construction Services and Commodities – with a total spend of 4+ BDKK. 

You will have a direct reporting line to Head of Logistics & Services Categories, and in cooperation with the respective category managers carry out the daily operational activities, as well as planning and executing cost optimizing initiatives, including tenders and negotiations together with relevant stakeholders.

 

Your primary tasks

In cooperation with the category manager for Indirect Procurement Manager Europe and Construction Services category, you will be an active contributor to:

• Be a key person in current implementation of the new Procure-to-Pay system, and act as the go-to person in Denmark 
• Running tenders incl. negotiation and finalizing contracts for Indirect Procurement, and Construction Services category across the Group
• Support the organisation in all indirect procurement matters
• Identify, initiate and execute new saving initiatives, securing a constant solid saving pipeline
• Drive tenders in other categories within Logistics and Services Categories

Job requirements:

The ideal candidate is experienced, either in full or in part, with the following:

• Similar position with an international company
• Stakeholder management in a multicultural and diverse environment
• Professional communication skills
• Structured sourcing execution skills
• English at a professional level, while Danish is an advantage
• A relevant commercial degree at the bachelor/master level, or the equivalent in working experience
• Expected travel activity can be up to 20 days per year, always with flexibility to plan well ahead.
