We are looking for a product manager for our Marine & Offshore segment, which produces, markets and sells genset controls for power production to the global marine industry, where we are the global market leader. Our products ensure safe power management on ships and offshore platforms.

The JobAs our new product manager, you will join an existing product management team, which is part of our Sales & Marketing organisation. Here you will be responsible for specific products and markets, which are determined on the basis of the skills and the knowledge you possess.

You will be part of a function where we combine commercial and technical skills, and where your task is to analyse the market; including customers, prices, competitors and solutions. On this basis, you will develop our products and our customer base. When you get a good idea from a customer, you will create new products for the market in cooperation with R&D and our supporters. You will be working across the organisation and utilise your colleagues' skills. You will meet our customers at exhibitions around the world, at client meetings along with our sales managers and by e-mail and telephone. This means that you will have about 30 travel days per year.

The person

• You have an electrical technical background, and a higher technical or commercial education
• As a minimum, you have a couple of years of experience from a similar position, where you've had a commercial focus
• Your electric technical knowledge makes you able to guide and advise colleagues and clients about the best solutions
• Knowledge of generator control and automation as well as experience from the marine & offshore industry is considered a great advantage

As a person, you are collaborative, social and outgoing. You work closely with your colleagues whom you play better through your knowledge and positive contribution to our work. You use the same skills when you build relationships with customers, colleagues and subsidiaries.

Your experience in using your technical skills in a more commercial role will be a great inspiration to us, and in this way you will be a strength in the development of our organisation.
