Project Manager for Database and Software Development Project

At Gubra we think big and only the best solution is good enough. For an exciting and ambitious software development project, we are looking for a talented and dedicated project manager to drive the project to success in collaboration with CTO and other stakeholders. 
 
The focus for the project manager is to secure deliverables, high quality and keep stakeholders updated and informed according to the project plan. The project is of strategic value in the company and you will therefore have full support and attention on the highest level in the aim of creating results. 
 
Gubra is a company with a very dynamic and fast-paced drive. We work with preclinical contract research services and proprietary early target and drug discovery programs in the metabolic research space. The purpose of the database project is to support collection and processing of the vast amount of research data we create every day in the aim of finding new medical drugs.   
 
You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, e.g. software engineers in India, an in-house product manager, group leaders in regards to resource allocations, the CTO, and the executive management team.  
 
Your tasks as project manager include: 

• Coordinate multiple development teams working in parallel and ensure deliveries 
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects that can include both software and hardware 
• Provide transparent project plans and execute accordingly 
• Ensure successful releases of solutions in close collaboration with the product manager 

Professional qualifications: 
You have experience as project manager within software and / or hardware development. 
 

• Relevant theoretical education at master level (IT, computer science, engineering or similar) 
• + 5 years’ experience either as project member (specialist) or 2+ as project manager 
• Experience with agile software or hardware development / scrum 
• Relevant project management education can be a plus 

Personal qualifications: 
You take great pride in your professional work, you are on time and simultaneously manage to be flexible. Other personal qualifications include team spirit, good communication skills and a constructive mind set when troubleshooting is necessary. In general, you have a positive approach and are dedicated to your work. You solve your assignments carefully and thoroughly. Moreover, you can manage many different tasks.
