Do you have several years of management and electronic or mechatronic product production experience? Then here is your opportunity to set the quality standard within product development, procurement and manufacturing processes for joysticks and controllers. Lead a team of quality professionals You will head a team of 4 and become a member of the management team consisting of the Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Supply Chain Manager and a representative from the Sales Organization. We are part of a global business unit, and your mission is to ensure quality in all aspects of our endeavors. This means that you will be collaborating with numerous stakeholders including customers and production staff as well as occasional travelling to our sister organization in Minneapolis. Ensure quality improvements and define the strategy • You will be responsible for all aspects of quality control and management in regards to joysticks and controller products. As such, your key tasks will be to: • Define our quality strategy and how we deploy quality improvements in specific work functions • Ensure high quality processes within procurement and manufacturing applying e.g. LEAN methods to improve existing procedures • Participate in creating the division road map for quality efforts and initiatives • Lead your team and confer with relevant stakeholders involved in the projects Engineer with strategic and hands-on electronic insight • You have a Master Degree in Engineering combined with several years of solid electronic experience • Further, you have both strategic and hands-om experience from a production environment and you have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and products • Experience with LEAN is a must and TS16949, Six Sigma and other relevant tools are nice to have • You also have some people management experience as well as excellent English skills With your excellent electronic insights and strong leadership skills, you have the drive to challenge the organization and our established procedures. You are extremely proactive and are always searching for ways to improve and strengthen our quality standards.
