The department
JACK & JONES Retail oversees a portfolio of more than 1000 stores across 24 countries, and we continue to grow. Because of this, we want to strengthen our organization with a talented Retail Planner, who will join our engaged Retail team. The team consists of 14 employees, including Product Managers, Planners & Operations Specialists, where personal and professional growth is of high priority. We are an ambitious team driven towards taking our Retail business to new heights, and you will experience a working environment that is informal and direct. We are also very social, we enjoy having fun, and we always strive towards making time for social events.
The role
As a Retail Planner you will have a key role in optimising and driving the business forward. The key tasks will be to analyse and plan the seasonal buying strategy on a country level as well as identifying areas of improvement through benchmarking and performance measurements.
In cooperation with our Country Buyers, Product Managers and Operations Specialists, you will be responsible for securing and driving the sales in our stores. Through budgeting and category planning, you will be a central figure in our growth. You will have your own personal responsibility areas as part of a team which is driven by success, fashion and personal development.
Key tasks:
- Analyse and plan the seasonal buying strategy
- Constant analysis of sales performance and stock levels
- Benchmarking and analysing on country, lifestyle and category level
- Development of seasonal buying budgets
- Improving and developing our reporting tools
- Optimising and maintaining our systems
- Work as a link between the countries and the central office in Brande
- Be a part of various projects that will drive our business forward.
- An exciting part about this job concerns the travel activities, and you can expect approximately 20 travel days per year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Economics
- Superuser in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent in English
- Experience from a retail environment
- Experience from a planning role
- Experience within fashion buying will be an advantage, but not a requirement.

Additionally, you will be working with colleagues from various departments and various cultural backgrounds. Therefore, it is very important that you are outgoing and a great communicator with good collaboration skills. Additionally, we expect a high energy level and personal drive that will lead you to showing results and add value for our business.
