In this role you will support the Head of Risk Management in:
Identifying and evaluating compliance risks (anti-corruption and foreign trade controls (FTC)) in a standardized procedure to taking appropriate decisions for implementing preventive responses and to monitor their effectiveness.

Coordinating the development of rules which are owned or supported by Compliance. In addition, guide on implementation, documentation and evaluation of these rules and advise on the creation and revision of corporate-wide applicable rules. 

Supporting high risk entities to mitigate business processes inherent to compliance risks by establishing an effective and sustainable internal control system to assure effectiveness.

The role is available in Copenhagen or in the Hague.

Key responsibilities

Supporting the Head of Risk Management in his function of establishing a risk management process:

• Effective risk prevention by risk identification & assessment, risk response plan, effectiveness monitoring
• Group-wide anti-corruption risk assessment model, with focus on assessment of impact and likelihood of risk
• Group-wide inquiry and evaluation of risk data, including analysis and data preparation for the risk assessment including plausibility checks and clarification with the entities and central units
• Effective risk mitigating responses together with entity management and the Compliance Network
• Communication of the results of the risk assessment to the entity management and management of the central units
• Reporting of Compliance Risks to respective stakeholders

Assisting the Head of Risk Management in his function of establishing an Internal Controls and Effectiveness testing framework:

• Set-up annual implementation plan for internal controls according to Compliance Program
• Coordinate internal control implementation project with management of high risk entities together with Finance
• Monitoring of Implementation, Verification and Sign-off Phase and consult on and escalate problems, if necessary
• Monitor implementation effectiveness and sustainability of compliance internal control system by conducting limited implementation effectiveness reviews and by analyzing Group Internal Audit reports to identify deficiencies
• Initiate Effectiveness Remediation at entities and provide recommendations 
• Maintain effective internal control program elements by analyzing and mapping of available information to internal control program elements and conclude on efficiency and adaptation needs

Assisting the Head of Risk Management in his function of establishing a Rules management process:

• The creation and revision of rules applicable for the Compliance program
• Coordination of the development of rules owned or supported by compliance
• Conduct of the Regular Rules Evaluation Process for rules owned or supported by Compliance.
• Drive Rules review procedure

We are looking for

- 2 years in a similar position
- Degree in Business Administration or economics, management or law or an equivalent finance qualification related discipline is preferred 
- Advanced knowledge within maintaining a Compliance Program (Corruption prevention, Foreign trade control)
- Excellent intercultural, problem solving skill
- Experienced setting up risk management system
- Experienced implementing internal control frameworks
- Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and e-mail applications
- Experience in process & project management
- Must be motivated and detail-oriented with great organizational skills. 
- Professional report writing and presentation skills
