About the position

Academic Work is, on behalf of our client, looking for a Sales Excellence Specialist to enable their Customer Developer to become the best by building superior capabilities of Systems, Processes and People while ensuring consistence and excellence in execution. You will experience working with passionate and ambitious people, who value gaining great results as much as a good working environment.

This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at the company. The assignment is a fulltime position and will be active for 6 months. There might be possibility to extend the contract.

Work duties

As a Sales Excellence Specialist you will be responsible for a smooth and cost-effective operation between the company, its customers and 3rd parties. You will also work as active challenger for the Customer Developer to deliver strategy and reporting within the organization. This is done by aligning Customers Developers systems, implementing structured approached to the Customers Developer and taking responsibility to ensure these are carried out through to develop customer and shopper benefits. You will also ensure Customer Developer systems supporting S&OP process, championing reporting and commercial tools as well as driving a consistent and compliant approach in handling of TMI.

Examples on your main responsibilities:

  • Campaign System Maintenance incl. product, taxes, prices and ad hoc reporting
  • Sales Reporting incl. local hierarchies, support and ad hoc reporting, scorecard reporting
  • TMI reporting and CD S &OP Tools support and work as a super user
  • Daily Sales reporting – Maintenance and Development
  • Accruals overview and control
  • Drive operationally Trade Term Structure


We are looking for

We are looking for a person, who has strong analytical skills, which includes a strong financial and business understanding and skills. You might have an education within the field of Finance or other relevant background.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • has 2-3 years’ experience within FMCG
  • has 2-3 years’ experience with SAP
  • has worked with sales reporting, business financials and accounting
  • has worked with Trade Promotions and Promotions Tools
  • is fluent in orally and written Danish and English
  • is an experienced user of Excel/Pivots

It is not a requirement, but it is an advantage if you have experience with customer Development teams/interactions.

As a person, you are a good communicator and team player, as you will work closely with your colleagues. You like to work targeted, and you do not give up when a task seems too hard to solve – you do the opposite – you dive into any challenges you get with a positive and focused mind-set.
