At Dansk Supermarked we take pride in always ensuring our customers the very best experience in our stores – and that requires a solid foundation. As Backend Developer with us you will be collaborating closely with the business, ensuring that all relevant data is available for reporting, advanced analyses and statistics, thus contributing to the optimization of the value accessible through BI by supporting fact based decisions based on continuously growing data volumes. You will be part of our central BI delivery team handling all extraction, modelling and reporting. Our solutions cover all process/business areas and collaborate closely with both the business units and the operational organization. The BI Department currently consists of 16 internal developers. Besides that the BI Department is supported by a group of eight Offshore Supporters/Developers who handles daily operations. Your tasks and responsibilities •Developing solutions in the various areas such as Finance, Sales, Pos, Logistics, CPM etc. •Existing solutions in SAP BW must be either gradually migrated to LSA++ or replaced by new HANA models •Deployment of SAP HANA Enterprise, SAP HANA for BW, SAP Data Services and integration with SAP BO •Engage in close technical dialogue with the operational organization securing optimal use of our new BI platform •Cooperation in agile delivery team where agility is to ensure rapid delivery of high quality and with optimal team productivity As part of the delivery team you must partake in securing steady support and operations as well as maximized quality/credibility on our BI solutions. It is a common task in the team to ensure that our solutions run steadily and we all hold responsibility – directly or indirectly. Our expectations To be able to deliver it is important that you have a solid overview, and that you have the ability to translate business needs into concrete BI solutions. You are passionate about building the very best solutions, you naturally take responsibility and ownership of your tasks and you are self-motivated with a strong drive. Your approach to your tasks is structured and you systematically work your way to the goal. You have strong analytical and logical abilities and you are very quality conscious in developing scalable solutions running stable in operational mode. We are aware that good solutions arise from team efforts. So it is crucial that you thrive in an environment based on broad collaboration and that you are able to secure solid communication with process teams, business, operational organization and SAP Basis functions. In other words – you are a naturally born team player willing to share and build up knowledge in the team. Your focus is on possibilities and you are innovative when creating solutions and tools – and at the same time, you are able to complete your tasks within the given time frames and deadlines. Your background and competencies •Several years’ experience in developing BI solutions on large and complex data warehouses
