Danfoss Drives is looking for a Senior Control Engineer to join our team and be a part of our journey towards developing the next generation frequency converters. In this position you will have a unique opportunity to ensure our products’ performance, and that we meet and exceed our customer expectations.
 
We will offer you varying projects for different customers.  As our new Senior Control Engineer you will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing motor control algorithms to various product platforms. You must be passionate towards design and development to succeed and exceed expectations, both through your own contribution and through strong teamwork.
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have strong analytical and technical skills, and are interested in a job where you can influence our business through motor control development. You hold a Master of Science in Power Electronics or similar related to AC drive control and have strong skills in control theory and signal processing.

To succeed in this position, you should have:

• Extensive experience in Matlab / Simulink environment
• Strong know-how of AC motor modeling
• Strong customer-focus mindset
• Understanding of different AC drives topologies and related technologies. 

If you take the challenge you will be responsible for:

• Design Motor control algorithms
• Control Algorithm Simulation and implementation via. Simulink and autocode generation (model-based design)
• Supporting customer service organization on customer requirements and requests.
