Your future responsibilities

As a skilled developer, you’ll be part of the IT development team, which is responsible for delivering a new state of the art derivatives risk platform. In Derivatives Systems our aim is to create a highly scalable and flexible risk system that allows Nordea Markets to serve their customers and comply with financial regulation.

What you’ll be doing:

Help design, deliver and maintain the Python framework for Nordea’s risk infrastructure platform
Deliver services in a microservice based architecture for Nordea’s risk infrastructure platform
Work with modern technologies and tools like docker, in-memory analytics, grid computing and cloud
Work close together with the quant team in Nordea Markets and be a sparring partner to the rest of the team

The role is based in Copenhagen. Welcome to an agile cross-functional team of talented and very technically skilled people working closely together with the quant department in Nordea Markets.

Your profile and background:

Experienced developer with at least 5 years of experience as a developer and preferably within Investment Banking
Experience with designing and developing larger applications in Python and Java
Embracing SOLID principles, unit testing and clean code
If you have experience with C++ it is a plus.
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Relevant university qualifications
