Job Description

Do you have a strong interest in the development of joysticks? Are you searching for a position, where you can apply your knowledge to support an innovative engineering team with existing and new product development? If yes, then we have an interesting opportunity for you as our new Technical Assistant in Joysticks Engineering, Danfoss Power Solutions.
 
We are looking for a Technical Assistant, who can support our team with PLM, configurator development & maintenance, along with implementing Engineering Changes. You will become part of a global team consisting of 14 engineers in Connect and Control Solutions. The position is located in Nordborg, Denmark, and you will report to the Engineering Manager.
 
Support PLM, change management and Excel Configurations
As our new Technical Assistant, you will be supporting engineering services for existing and new product development. Therefore, we expect that you may have knowledge and/or a strong interest in data handling. Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Maintain SAP Database
• Support PLM and change management locally and between international sites
• Excel configurator development & maintenance
• Function as the bridge between engineering cross locations and other functional areas
• Provide maintenance and support for existing data systems
• Participate in Engineering Change Board meetings and drive the engineering changes to implementation.
• Develop processes
• Preferably prepare CAD layout with mechanical parts, electrical parts, and installation drawings 

Technical profile with great coordination skills
You may have technical background/education, why you have experience in Excel and SAP.
If you have been working with design and maintenance of CAD blocks, this is a strong advantage. We will make sure that you receive an understanding of the internal systems, tools and processes, which supports our daily work. Moreover, you must expect 1-2 yearly trips to our domestic and international locations.
 
On a personal level, you are persistent and enjoy advising and servicing your colleagues. You possess great coordination skills, which allows you to run in a timely fashion and keep continuous contact with your stakeholders. You have strong interpersonal communication skills and you are driven by results. As we are a global organization, we expect that you have proficiency in written and spoken English.
