Danfoss Business is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join us and be a part of our journey towards a smarter way of constructing and implementing software which can be used across all of the Danfoss Drives segment. You will be involved from the start to end-product and your overall mission will be to develop embedded software as well as ensure a high level of quality within the developed products.
This position will provide a unique opportunity to be exposed to high-performance middleware and message routing applications. You will be part of our international team and have over 70 software specialists based in both Denmark, Finland, USA, India and China.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you hold solid experience within Industrial middleware development, preferably with ARM SoC solutions, or you can be a new graduate brought up with the right training. You might hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded software, Industrial communication with a strong computer science component or similar. More specifically, we expect that you have knowledge or experience within:
- Extensive development in object-oriented programming using C++ 11/14/17
- Embedded systems concepts (CAN, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP)
- Development and integration within continuous integration systems
- Object Oriented programming
- System performance and design
- Unit-testing and functional testing while doing development
- Multi-threading
- DevOps & Automated testing.
