Would you like to take up the exciting challenge of supporting our Markets business with financial reporting and forecasting?

Join us and become Student Assistant in Finance Business Partners Wholesale where you’ll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise. Together with your colleagues in Finance Business Partners Wholesale, you’ll support the management and business in the Markets & Bioenergy division with follow-up on financial statements, forecasting for both the short and the long term, performance management and ad hoc analyses. You’ll be part of a business partner setup that plays a key role in bridging business performance and financial statements, and which overall supports the decision-makers throughout our organisation.

Your key tasks will be to

• help prepare the monthly management reporting and thereby ensure the quality of the financials reported to top management in Markets & Bioenergy and the Group
• help prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts
• interact with the business in making complex activities easily understandable
• ensure that value-creating activities are in focus
• contribute to creating transparency in earnings for the power and gas portfolios and the trading and hedging activities.

Furthermore, you’ll participate in the improvement of our reporting and forecasting systems and processes. You’ll carry out ad hoc analyses and facilitate communication between the business and other finance departments.

Your competences include that you

• are currently taking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance or similar 
• are a proficient user of Excel and PowerPoint
• wish to understand the business and underlying value drivers to secure high-quality analyses
• have respect for deadlines and pay attention to detail.

It’s essential that you’re a self-starter, work systematically and are able to deliver high-quality solutions. You have a results-oriented and value-adding approach to your work and a flair for working with complicated analytical challenges. You’re able to create results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders. Furthermore, you’re prepared to contribute during busy periods.
