Do you want to develop your quality skills and mind-set within our supply chain? At Danfoss Cooling, we are looking to recruit a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with a high level of coordination skills. This is a job where you will play a key role in securing the quality and reliability of the suppliers used in our business unit. You will join a world leader within development, production and sales of refrigeration and air condition controls. You become part of a small dedicated SQE team working with different teams across functions, The position is located in Nordborg and entails up to 20 travelling days per year. Securement of supplier quality Your objective is to secure quality of the components delivered by our suppliers and drive operational supplier quality tasks in order to reduce supplier PPM. In detail, you will: •Receive and respond to change requests from suppliers •Initiate and follow up on the progress of SPAPP activities related to the supplier •Plan supplier quality, controls and verification results •Handle supplier claims which includes 8D reports •Handle supplier requests for waivers •Conduct technical audits at suppliers You will report directly to the Director of Quality Operations, Marianne McElheron and furthermore you will have a dotted reporting line to the Supplier Quality Director in DCS. Proactive and independent engineer or technician with knowledge of ISO 9001 or TS 16949 You have a background as engineer (BA) or technician specialised in procurement or quality topped up by solid hands-on experience working with supplier quality preferably from the manufacturing industry (technical field) and experience with global suppliers. You can document solid results working with standards such as ISO 9001 or TS 16949. Moreover, you are a skilled user of APQP toolbox and you have experience with PPAP. It will be a plus if you are a certified auditor. You are meticulous and take pride in following your tasks through, while maintaining a solid overview. In addition, you are systematic, structured and you possess an analytical mind-set, while driven by an eagerness to obtain new knowledge and further develop your skills.
