Job Description

Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC) is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Kolding. Your role will be to improve the quality, reliability and performance of our suppliers. This in order to ensure alignment in our international business unit. You will become part of a SQE team of four competent and dedicated colleagues. Other tasks will include: planning/coordination of quality activities, handling of supplier complaints and participating in product development, design changes and other supplier related projects. Working with colleagues across multiple functions (procurement, engineering, logistics, supply chains and incoming inspection) and locations is key to success in this role.
 
As a person you are quality and result oriented. You are able to work independently and systematically, while at the same time you are also a good team player who can interact and communicate well with people at all levels.
 
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have an educational background from a technical environment or as an engineer, as well as:

• 3-5 years’ experience with quality assurance and management systems, preferably IATF16949 and related quality tools
• Experience with claim handling and qualification of new parts from suppliers
• Experience with supplier audits and supplier assessments
• Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication skills along with a good understanding of other cultures
• Fluent and comprehensive in English (Danish language is an advantage)
