Do you want to support Grundfos Operations in EMEA securing top delivery performance by enabling our plants to deliver solid and reliable results fully aligned to our customers’ needs?

As the supply chain manager in EMEA, you will take the lead to ensure that our customers’ needs are fulfilled by our plants and our sales companies. You will be responsible for ensuring that the global supply planning process, analysis and escalations are executed in the right way and with the right speed. Moreover, you will drive weekly and monthly analysis to understand trends in sales and production versus the plan in order to bridge between short term execution and long-term problem solving.

You will be a key enabler for solving delivery performance issues working side by side with plants, group functions and ensuring transparency with sales colleagues.

You will furthermore identify process and maturity gaps in the plants and support them with development actions, continuous improvement and recovery plans hand in hand with other group functions.

 

The Key Responsibilities for the position:

• Review and optimize plants’ supply chain performance
• Coordinate and follow-up on execution of decisions to change and/or improve
• Provide analysis and support development and deployment of the supply chain strategy
• Engage and secure commitment from relevant stakeholders
• Support EMEA escalations towards different stakeholders (Sales, Operations, plants and Group Supply Chain, Group Purchasing)
• Liaise with Plants and Sales companies to improve COTTR, Lead Times, Segmentation initiatives / processes
• Lead the alignment on units vs activities
• Continuously improve execution of practices and methods based on performance and process indicators

 

Be EMEA Change Agent

To ensure alignment between plants, Group Supply Chain and customers through our sales companies, it is crucial to have the right soft skills in order to ensure collaboration between the different teams and by that achieve the target we all have in common: Serving our customers in the best way. Regular visits to our main plants, group functions and sales companies across EMEA are crucial to achieve this goal. We expect around 60 days of travelling (if based outside Denmark, this would increase). The job can be based either in Denmark or in one of our global offices in EMEA.

 

What do you need to apply?

To succeed as supply chain manager, you will need a common sense and an end-to-end mindset. It is vital that you possess a natural curiosity and interest in other colleagues’ areas of responsibility to be able to build together and not in isolation. You can drive initiatives in a complex matrix organization because you have informal authority. You are quick in getting a high-level understanding of issues and then deep-dive for a fast resolution.

This role requires very well-developed change management and communication skills at all levels within and outside of the organization. You are a team player and capable of leading teams of people remotely, also towards peers and other stakeholders not reporting directly to you and often from other functions. It’s important to have a truly global mindset, dedication to growth and focus on customer service. Having an analytical approach will complete the profile.

You have as a minimum a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of applicable experience within supply chain management. You must have demonstrated experience in progressively more responsible and challenging roles. Working knowledge of SAP is mandatory and excellent English skills verbally and in writing is also a requirement.
