Do you want to be our new Project Manager to help deliver on our ambitious sustainability strategy?
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead BESTSELLER’s sustainability work within our owned & operated buildings and indirect procurement space globally.

You will become part of BESTSELLER’s Sustainability department at our corporate headquarters. With our recently launched sustainability strategy Fashion FWD, we are dedicated to inspiring, engaging and leading our business to become more resilient and sustainable. About the position
You will be responsible for leading the implementation of our sustainability strategy for owned & operated buildings globally, focusing primarily on energy sourcing and energy efficiency to deliver on our ambitious climate strategy. You will also be responsible for developing a strategy for our indirect procurement focusing on choice of better materials such as alternatives to virgin plastics and enhanced recycling. You will be responsible for mapping our key impacts and making sure we address these in line with our sustainability strategy. You will navigate a large, multi-brand fashion company and lead a project group that cuts across the organisation.
More specifically, your tasks will include:
- Lead and manage our sustainability strategy for our owned & operated buildings and indirect procurement scope globally
- Lead a cross-functional group to set targets, develop roadmaps, requirements and processes at our offices, warehouse, stores, logistics, etc.
- Lead a project to set up data system to track global scope of consumption and reduction
- Track target progress and KPIs to be used for communication and reporting on the progress of our strategy
- Map our consumption of indirect materials within marketing and store material, office supplies etc. with the purpose of developing policies and finding more sustainable alternatives
- Develop policies and strategies within indirect procurement and support the implementation of these policies within the indirect procurement functions across brands and group functions together with sourcing teams
- Stay updated on the development of new options and market possibilities within indirect materials.
You will be working out of our office in either Aarhus, Brande or Copenhagen, Denmark. Depending on your base location, you can expect travel to account for up to 20 percent of your work hours. This includes regular travel between our offices in Denmark.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree within business management, project management or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing cross-functional projects, preferably within the climate, energy and/or indirect procurement space.
- Experience working with sustainability-related projects within energy and CO2 reductions.
- Experience driving goal-oriented transformation processes.
- Experience working in a large, international organisation will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, alternatives to virgin plastics, recycling systems, and energy efficiency tools for buildings is an advantage.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.

You are very result-orientated and able to to keep project participants engaged. You are outgoing by nature and have good networking skills, enabling you to easily establish new relations.
