Drive all aspects of Software Asset Management
Software Asset Management has been a key discipline in LEGO for years, but we are looking to step it up and increase focus on Cloud, SaaS and subscription software's, as well as more traditional software spent. You will be driving all aspects of Software Asset Management (SAM), with the support of a Product Owner and your team colleagues, with whom you will define the future journey.
The software portfolio is growing heavily in LEGO®, and stepping up SAM is vital for us, as the potential wins in this area are great. We hold high standards in quality and live out our promises to our partners.
Truly global
Interacting with the entire LEGO® organisation in a truly global context will become your everyday, and you will have dialogues on everything from purchases to deep strategic topics. You will be designing new processes around our SAM Tools as well as educating the organization on these. You will become a part of a team of 9 people, who are specialized in Hardware and Software Asset Management as well as budget planning and controlling.

The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Drive development of Software Asset Management Tool
- Build and drive processes which secures that LEGO® continues living the partner promise
- Highlight and secure cost savings together with the Procurement organization
- Secure control and transparency in IT budgets regarding software spend
- Drive and secure SAM processes such as re-harvesting of licenses
- Drive SAM operational processes
- SAM process automatization
Software and Hardware Asset Management within IT
You will join the team Technology Asset Management within IT. We are 9 colleagues aiming to secure, drive and support IT budgets, drive compliance and optimisations around software and hardware. Our journey to improve and optimise the deliverables and processes is constant, and automation and simplification are ever ongoing focus areas. Thus, we are moving from being transactional to becoming tactically and strategically oriented through an agile methodology. And trusting you to make decisions, do what is right and get things done to the highest possible quality, we will help you make the most of your skills and reach your potential.
A Software Asset Manager who challenges the status quo
As you will be the go-to-person for Software Asset Management matters, it is important that you can create trust and collaborate with colleagues. Also, you thrive working with SAM and data in general in order to gain valuable insights. You are curious and analytical by nature, and not afraid to ask questions, challenge us and bring new ideas and insights to the table. You focus on delivering value, and you are not afraid to act or speak up if you find a smarter way to do things. Your qualifications:
- Most likely, you have a master´s in finance, business or IT combined with solid experience working with SAM in another firm
- It is a plus if you have previously worked in SAP
- You are fluent in English
