Would you like to lead a team of skilled employees working with offshore wind farm construction projects and play an essential role in optimising our harbour logistic solutions? Join us and become Team Lead in Harbour & Offshore Logistics which is responsible for supporting DONG Energy's wind power projects with harbour logistics, offshore logistics, marine and helicopter coordination, marine inspection and offshore operation management. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Team Lead in Harbour Logistics, you are responsible for a team of 6-8 colleagues supporting the individual offshore wind farm projects in the development and construction phases. You manage and coordinate the team’s efforts to ensure the preferred harbour logistic solutions for transport of heavy components and for construction base facilities. You plan and dedicate resources to our assets projects and will also be responsible for your own projects as well as for developing the skills and procedures within the team. A central part of your job is to cooperate with external stakeholders such as the harbour authorities as well as internal stakeholders on all levels in the project organisations. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •lead the harbour logistic team •ensure that the harbour facilities meet our HSE standards •study feasibility of harbour setups and facilities for pre-assembly, storage and construction base •ensure the best technical harbour solution in cooperation with our specialists in engineering •prepare and participate in contract negotiations together with project representatives and in-house advisors. Your profile You have an education as engineer (BSc), marine engineer or master mariner either supplied with a project management education (PMI) or project management experience, preferably from offshore wind projects. It is important that you have experience from an organisation working with large scale projects which have given you understanding for processes within project management in a complex organisation. You need to be able to communicate at all levels of an organisation. Furthermore, it is essential that you have a positive attitude towards working in a changing environment and can lead a team with focus on motivating and developing the employees. Our projects bring together various employee groups, cultures and authorities, so you need to have excellent communication skills and be able to speak and write English fluently. It is an advantage if you are proficient in German.
