Job Description

System Verification is the R&D unit in Oticon ensuring that all hearing solutions, whether they are new concepts or products matured for final verification, are tested and verified on system level. We are the last bastion before the mass production and sales teams take over. System Verification are comprised of 13 highly competent and dedicated test engineers, for whom we are now looking for a Team Manager, capable of motivating and inspiring the team, whilst also elevating the level of test methods and processes. In your job, you will work together with our Test Managers and Architects to elevate the competencies within methods and processes. You will be responsible for the personnel management and will ensure that resource needs are aligned with your team’s capacity.

Therefore, we consider it to be one of your primary tasks to be able to inspire, motivate and develop your team and their competencies with an eye on the individuals in the team.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

In order for you to be able to achieve the above goals and targets, we expect you to be an experienced leader with a proven track record of creating highly engaged teams. Moreover, to succeed in the position, it is important that you have experience with – and understanding of - R&D product development processes -and preferably a background within the test and verification competence and test management.  Experience within Medical device development and understanding of the requirements from MDR and FDA is an advantage.

 

Your educational background is preferably within Engineering, and your practical experiences could very well be consolidated in relevant training (e.g. ISTQB).

On a personal level, you are open and outgoing and excel at communication and coordination. A professional working proficiency in English is required to act in our international company.
