We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong project managements skills and a solid technical background. To put it short: Vestas Technology & Service Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future. Nacelle Engineering is a part of the Vestas Technology & Service Solutions. We have sites both in Denmark and India. The department is responsible for four different systems: the structural system, the yaw system, the cooling system, and the access and support system. The responsibilities as Technical Lead are to run projects in our gate model in an interdisciplinary field of engineering. We are responsible for design and analysis from the early concept study for new turbines to the final specification for production. Responsibilities: Your tasks can vary from complex development of new systems and concepts to implementation of improvements of existing products , and your primary tasks will be: Lead technical projects and implementations on assigned projects Plan work package execution together with development team Plan the scope and resources for the projects Deliver the technical solution within quality, time and cost targets of the project Prioritize the technical team’s tasks based on the calculated impact to project targets Identify and mitigate technical risks within the project scope Lead technical reviews Manage and align project challenges with stakeholders Provide feedback and challenge design solutions to interfacing systems in order to optimize product design Qualifications: You have a technical background as engineer either within electrical or mechanical area, or a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering Project management skills are key Competencies: You have been working with technical project management in your previous positions It's natural for you to knowledge share, lead, guide and advise your colleagues Focus on the project scope and able to understand the impact a scope change will have on the project Process oriented and structured in the way you work Self-driven and independent work approach, but also a strong team player and motivator Open-minded and good at sharing and gathering information within team and stakeholders Good communication and presentation skills in English and Danish Flair for and interest in stakeholder management including coordination, planning and reporting Technical leadership, and understanding the business and value chain. High degree of personal planning and able to meet deadlines. Experienced in executing large projects with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge about design engineering.
