We are looking for a Technical Solutions Professional for our Solutions Specialist Sales team, with deep knowledge about Cloud Data Platform Solutions and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

Drive the technical decision at the customer to buy, architect, develop and adopt solutions based on Microsoft technology:

 

  • Provide an integrated Cloud vision that convinces customers to adopt Microsoft Azure
  • Win Data Platform engagements by managing the technical decision makers and partners in the account
  • Explain, demonstrate, and prove in-depth what Microsoft Azure Data solutions can do and how to deploy them by driving technical presentations, demonstrations, Architecture and Design Sessions, Proofs of Concept and Pilots, leveraging sellers in partner organizations or Microsoft Services as needed
  • Drive App Dev Services (Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL DW, Azure DataLake & SQL Server in a VM) growth in accounts that are already consuming
  • Prioritize Azure premium services (SAP on Azure, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB) and SQL Server Workloads for both 1st and 3rd party

Be the connection and orchestration point for other technical resources:

 

  • Engage with other field resources, Services, Partners and Product development to provide feedback on current and future product requirements, including customer impact
  • Communicate and escalate technical, architectural and competitive blockers and insight to their appropriate channel
  • Develop partner engagements for driving the sale, deployment, and adoption of Microsoft solutions
  • Maintain and expand personal, technical, competitive, sales and deployment lifecycle readiness in a service oriented world
  • Participate in internal Microsoft technical communities and in the broader industry through events, blogs, whitepapers, and articles for your domain

Qualifications

Technical Solution Leader

 

  • Data Platform architect. The expertise and ability to integrate complex elements and customer requirements into innovative technical architectures in the data platform space required
  • Cloud architect. Expertise in designing Cloud native Data Platform solutions, incorporating identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance requirements, and experience integrating them into cloud and hybrid solutions required.
  • Experience with both relational & NoSql database Technologies
  • Technical breadth. Industry leading experience with cloud, hybrid solutions and adjacent technologies, architecture designs, migrations, and industry standards required. 
     

Experienced Professional

 

  • 10+ years of related experience in technical pre-sales and/or technical consulting roles preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • Certification in domain-specific technologies required.
  • Certification in the following technologies preferred: cloud application development technologies (including OSS technologies) and Azure architecture and development exams (70-532 and/or 70-534)
