- Market Access, Pricing and Health Economics - Denmark - Søborg The Global Market Access team in Novo Nordisk is dedicated to securing commercially viable access to our medicines for the patients who need them. The demand for high quality, robust health economic analyses of clinical data has never been higher, and the burden of proof has never been greater. Increasingly, payers want to evaluate drugs in their own real world settings for formulary and clinical decisions. Due to these increased demands we are expanding the Global Market Access team with a dedicated Health Economics and Real World evidence department. This department needs more competent and ambitious colleagues to add to the team already driving successful evidence generation to support reimbursement of our portfolio of therapies. About the department You will get the opportunity to join an expanding, international, high performing team in Søborg, Denmark responsible for generating health economic and real world evidence for Novo Nordisk’s late stage pipeline and launched brands. These positions will supplement a core team of health economic specialists in the team. The evidence we generate is published in peer reviewed publications, presented at scientific meetings, and communicated globally in support of market access, reinforcement of product effectiveness and cost-effectiveness. The job As Global health economist with focus on real world evidence you will work closely with multiple stakeholders such as R&D, brand teams, medical affairs, regions and affiliates. Ultimately the evidence generated to support pricing and reimbursement submissions, regionally and locally, will be adapted to payer’s needs and focused on demonstrating real world economic benefits. As a subject matter expert, you will partner with global and local stakeholders to facilitate the design of retrospective and prospective studies. You will contribute to study design, analytical plans, data collection plans, analysis and interpretation of research findings. You will develop and execute the RWE generation strategy and contribute to both as needed. You will be an ambassador for this new unit throughout the organisation, presenting and communicating findings internally and where appropriate, externally. Qualifications You have a minimum of a masters degree in an appropriate field such as health economics or outcomes research, epidemiology or statistics/biostatistics. You have an understanding of the process of generating evidence from randomised clinical trials, and/or prospective/retrospective real world studies in the pharmaceutical industry. You have specific knowledge and understanding of the use of real-world data sources and can demonstrate results you have generated either through analyses of public databases or data obtained through partnerships and collaborations with payers and institutions. You are fluent in both written and spoken English on a professional level. We aim for a balance of candidates in this process, both those who are more comfortable working ‘behind the scenes’ and those who are comfortable standing in front of a group of peers or payers and presenting the work of the team.
