Fertin Pharma is looking for a talented analytical chemist to ensure continued high standards in our analytic development. You will become part of our Product and Analytical Development (PAD), which consists of 22 employees. PAD is responsible for product and analytical development of the entire development chain – from the first idea to major customer projects. The department is part of Research & Development (R&D), responsible for the development of gum base, IPR and registrations. R&D consists of 68 employees. As analytical chemist you will be a part of the team focusing on customer projects. You will be in charge of activities related to analytical optimization/tests and validation until the product is handed over to our Quality Control Department. As project specialist you will be involved in approval and method testing of analysis, validation, troubleshooting and composing documentation for registration applications. You will be reporting to the manager of PAD; working independently, goal-oriented and with a high quality level. The job: •Approval of analysis and optimization and validation of analysis methods in complex matrices •Validation of analysis methods (Mainly dissolution and HPLC) •Registration documentation – including supporting the registration department with maintenance of registrations of promoted products •Transfer of method to the department of quality control in connection with projects •Contribution to ongoing efficiency improvements in the department Analysis development in connection with new products will take place in close collaboration with the other departments within R&D. You will be working as a specialist on chosen development projects and it is therefore important that you possess good communication and interpersonal skills. You have drive and you are organized. Background and personal profile: You are a pharmacist or hold an MSc (Eng.), MSc (chemistry), or a similar academic degree You have practical and theoretical experience within analytical chemistry – primarily HPLC/UPLC, GC and dissolution You are competent within the following areas: Validation of analysis methods, method development/optimization, organic chemistry and statistical planning of experiments It is an advantage if you have worked with GMP and are used to project work You are independent, competent and know how to handle a number of tasks at the same time You master English in speech and writing We offer: •A challenging job with great professional and personal development possibilities •A growing organization, talented colleagues and a good social environment.
