Would you like to take on a management role where you and our Area Finance team together creates a high performing finance business partnering team and drives synergies in the way we work? Last year the Nordic and UK&I sales companies merged into one Area and to reach our ambition we are looking for a manager to drive the agenda.
The New Area structure require that our 2 finance teams to be merged! Today the 2 finance teams have different structures, processes and maturity levels, so one of your important tasks will be to ensure the finance team supports our sales organisation for the future growth ambition. It is critical, that you have experience from managing successful changes. You will be part of the Area management team and refers to Area Managing Director, Truls Lystang as well as having an indirectly reporting line to Regional Finance Director, Lars Schiøler Andersen.

What is the job about?
As our new Area finance manager, you become responsible for our finance function in the 6 countries and for developing effective and common ways of working in the function. You are accountable for the financial activities in the 6 countries and plan, manage and coordinate the finance activities across the financial year. You work closely together with internal stakeholders in finance to ensure optimal finance team deliverables to the sales organisation, and with your colleagues in finance you ensure exchanging best practices to the greater good of Grundfos.
We are part of the Western Europe Region which will require you work closely with other finance managers in the region and also taking responsibility for project across the region.
As your team members are based in all the 6 countries and the Area Managing Director is based in Oslo frequent travel is expected in the role.

What do you need to apply?
You have a master’s degree in finance and have a solid leadership experience from a global finance organisation in a large international organisation. Ideally you have an audit background and or experience with ERM in a compliance function moreover you have 5 years’ experience within business partnering.
With your great negotiation and leadership skills, you are used to managing various stakeholders across borders, and you can work strategically as well as on an operational level. Moreover, you have knowledge of SAP systems and excellent communication skills in English and a possible 1 Scandinavian language.

You know that you need to listen and pay attention to every single stakeholder involved in order to get people on board. Having great business acumen, you can assimilate finance information to make well-considered business to help expand,” Truls finishes.
