Business Unit Wind Nordic is now looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Business Controller to drive our financial and analytical capabilities as well as support traditional financial processes both internally and to external partners. Main responsibilities & Work Tasks as Business Controller We are looking for a Business Controller for our generation units in Denmark. You will be responsible for supporting the business with financial analysis in a range of areas: from potential capital investments to analysis on cost and performance drivers, as well as planning and forecasting of asset performance. You will report to the head of Business Control Generation and co-operate closely with the Generation managers Responsibilities •Financial planning (forecasts and budgets) of Danish onshore and offshore assets •Supporting site managers with financial evaluation for asset management decisions (e.g.: investments & modifications) •Monthly closing, reporting and analysis of financial results, with forward looking evaluation of spend related to investment and O&M program. Reporting to and co-operation with co-owners of assets together with the Financial Control department •Supply managers with financial follow up incl. KPI´s •Co-operation on specific tasks with colleagues in Vattenfall Wind Generations 4 other countries Qualifications You must have a Bachelor or a Master degree or equivalent within business administration, economics or engineering. •Requirement to speak and write Danish and English, good knowledge of Danish accounting rules and knowledge of the Danish tax regulation •Ability to analyse financial, production and market data using Excel and other software tools •Ability to prioritize work requirements •Ability to set goals and objectives, prioritize objectives and meet deadlines •Ability to write professional quality reports •Proficient with the use of Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. •Knowledge and understanding of financial statements, ability to perform financial analysis •Knowledge of IFRS and Danish GAAP is an advantage, but not required •Knowledge of calculating business cases •Experience in Business Controlling is an advantage, but if you are the right person we will secure the relevant training Personal skills You are an enterprising, structured person who can create relations and are able to work in an international environment with colleagues and a manager in another location. This also requires being visible and having strong communication skills. You have a clear understanding of the difference between statutory accounting and management follow up. You have the ability to transfer conceptual ideas into practical solutions and you are proactive in business controlling and have a strong focus in business partnership. You have a thorough understanding of key financial processes and like to work with figures and make thorough analyses without losing the big picture. You must be very articulate in English speech and writing, and be flexible and willing to travel.
