Do you get excited about analysing multiple data sources and transforming that data into clear recommendations for how to improve existing and new product development?

Are you interested in helping us become more data driven in the development & marketing of digital/physical products? As Business Data Analyst Manager you have a chance to work across the LEGO portfolio of products to help designers and marketeers leverage the user experience insights you provide.

Core Responsibilities

Working within a cross-organizational team, you will collaborate with Interactive play designers and marketers to equip them with business insights to help them drive live product experience updates for digital/physical products and new product development, bringing longevity in LEGO play to kids worldwide.

As part of your work generating business insights you will also collaborate with other LEGO departments providing business data and insights. Your core responsibilities will be to:

• Translate business questions into requirements for data analytics, hereunder to get data measurements properly integrated upfront in product app development

• Across the retail portfolio of app connected LEGO products, analyse multiple data points including app analytics and consumer ratings to deliver and communicate business insights and recommendations

• Work together with franchise core teams and Interactive play designers to help them understand and leverage insights to improve product experience in life after launch and to inform new product and app development

• Educate/build app data analytics capability in Product Groups

• Define the need for dashboard (strategic level) and facilitate self-service in the product groups, hereunder training, sparring and support (tactical & operational level)

• As part of the data analytic network collaboration, build ways of working and share best practices with other data analysts within and outside Product & Marketing Development (PMD).

You will be part of Connect. We are responsible for developing and releasing a series of products to engage kids in digital/physical play. These products include LEGO Boost, LEGO Batmobile, Duplo Train, and others in the future pipeline. One of the key successes to these products is ensuring these experiences are regularly updated with improvements based on live data & insights as well as new content and features.

Because these types of products are relatively new for the LEGO Group and also in the kids toy market, an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset is required to push the boundaries on how much new play we can bring to kids globally.

The successful candidate will be part of a great team based in Billund.

Do you have what it takes?

To succeed in this position we expect you to have:

• Bachelor or Master in Business Administration or similar other relevant background with substantial practical experience in the field

• Min. 3 years’ experience from games or other digital products

• Extensive experience with business insights in a marketing and product development context including app analytics

• Experience with quantitative analysis and data extraction

• Experience with working with data science as a foundation for business analysis

• Significant collaboration skills required to ensure integration with product development teams and to ensure alignment and best practice sharing with other teams working in adjacent fields of expertise.

• Excellent communication skills, hereunder data visualization and communication with senior stakeholders

• Fluent English in writing and verbal
