About the position
Siemens Gamesa is looking for an experienced leader to further strengthen and develop our Global Repair Business under the scope of Spare Parts and Supplies Department. In this role you will play a key role in the repair Business development in Services, as one of the main levers to support the growth of the business through the competitiveness improvement, and to offer to the market a sustainable Solution for the actual fleet and aftermarket.
About the role
As the Global Head of Repair Management you will define, build and deploy the complete Service Repairs strategy in the regions (all components) as a profitable business with high add value for our customers. You will through a defined portfolio of components, identifying the footprint of each component, and a clear MAKE Vs BUY strategy to define the % of internalization and the investment to support it.
You will own of the End to End Repairs process and also be the person to identify new Repairs opportunities
In this role you will define the tools strategy to be deployed in the regions and you will coordinate with the regions and Procurement and the supply Chain development in each of the regions to ensure the strategy deployment.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the area of the service and repairs Business (min 5 years) – and probably have a Technical Engineer Degree, an MBA degree or similar. Significant experience as a manager is a requirement.
You should also be an excellent communicator with great people skills. You take leadership seriously and you have acquired managerial skills throughout your working life. Your English should be of a high standard, both spoken and written.
Living and/or working experience from a multicultural environment would be a great asset in our very complex and diverse company – just as experience with working in virtual team will be an advantage
