Then you might be the Buyer we are looking for to join the Procurement team as soon as possible. Global Service/ Supply Chain Operations/ Procurement North Supply Chain Operations within Vestas Wind Systems is designed to support the Vestas Sales Business Units and their end customers. Our scope is to provide a globally competitive advantage for Vestas in aftermarket services that can support wind turbine sales in a strong manner. Given the dynamics of the aftermarket and our dedicated wish to claim leadership in that market you will join a fast paced environment with a strong growth potential. Operations are responsible for procurement, warehousing, repair operations, distribution, and support in connection with spare parts and services globally in the Vestas organization. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for purchasing material and inventory control. Work closely with Planning, Quality, Global Category team, etc., to manage supplier performance and optimize supply chain. Handling of purchase orders Handling of order confirmations Follow-up on vendor performance Daily contact with suppliers of components Maintain item warehouse files Follow-up on exceptions in the MRP Coordination with Planners Coordination with Category Management teams Coordination with internal and external Warehouse Qualifications: Relevant educational background Experience from similar position + 2 years' experience in supply chain management High level in English both verbally and written Good IT-skills in MS-office and ERP-system- SAP preferable Competencies: Personal skills: Proactive team player with drive and a positive mindset Good attention to detail and willingness to take ownership Responsible with a systematic and structured work style What we offer: We offer a challenging job with excellent opportunities for vocational and personal development at the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer.
