Copenhagen / Local / Commercial-Sales-Business Development / Ref.: MO-077432 You will lead the Danish Business Unit Commercial team responsible for providing primary advice to top management and deliver commercial projects in the business unit. We Offer You will play a key role in the strategy, change and capability development of the function and act as owner of projects for business unit commercial arrangements. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of DBU Commercial, you will focus on: • Providing support to structure deals and contracts • Driving efficiency by applying best practice in negotiation and agreement delivery • Leading and delivering commercial projects within the business unit • Supervising and coaching project managers within the commercial team, and provide commercial support to project managers across the business unit • Providing expertise to front-end load commercial considerations in key business activities • Supporting the identification of above-ground risks, alongside colleagues from other non-technical functions • Owning the business unit long term gas sales agreements • Supervising commercial activity in the business unit and driving commercial awareness • Managing partner relations to secure commercial alignment in projects Who we are looking for • Minimum 12 years’ experience of oil and gas industry • Economic, technical or other relevant educational background • In depth experience with the Danish oil and gas sector • Capability to work with complex commercial arrangements, identify and quantify value of opportunities and deliver solutions • Significant contract arrangement structuring and operations expertise across the oil and gas value chain • Significant negotiation expertise with a strong track record and recognised ability • Ability to build strong networks internally and externally • Proven ability to integrate people, systems and expertise Last application date: 14 July 2015. maerskoil.com Maersk Oil is an international oil and gas company with operated production of about 557,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from Denmark, the UK, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Algeria.
