Computerome, the Danish National Life Science Supercomputing Center at DTU, is looking for a Compliance and data officer to work with information security and compliance-herewith in relation to the general data protection regulation (GDPR). The job consisting in managing tasks and solving issues that enables the Center to comply with guidelines and policies regarding information security and GDPR.

Job responsibilities
As Compliance Officer, you will be mainly responsible for
  • Managing and solving compliance issues in collaboration with the Center's colleagues.
  • Assessing information security risks, and implementing measures for minimizing such risks.
  • Developing new processes and maintaining the compliance infrastructure.
  • Writing and updating GDPR policies.
  • Maintaining the documentation of compliance activities.
  • Providing training and guidelines on information security topics.
  • Contributing to and facilitating the development of an information security awareness.

Qualifications, competences, and skills
The position requires that you have the following
  • A degree in Life science, Computer Science or Data Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws.
  • Knowledge of data processing operations in a sector such as the one of Computerome.
  • Experience of managing information security projects and tasks
  • Experience with data analysis within the fields of life science.
  • Experience with web-development, -design, and -communication.
  • Familiarity with information security systems.
  • Ability to analyse, form an overview of, and structure information.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Skills in paying attention to details.
