Can you drive strategic procurement activities for our German offshore wind farms? Join us and become Contract Manager or Senior Contract Manager in Contract Management which is responsible for strategic procurement, tendering and commercial contract management in one the leading energy groups in Northern Europe. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our Hamburg office in Germany; or alternatively you may be based at one of our Danish offices in either Skærbæk near Fredericia or Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or at our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. Areas of responsibility You drive strategic procurement activities with the objective of creating price reductions while reducing supplier and process complexity. You also deliver safe, high-quality and cost-effective products and services across our wind project portfolio to achieve measurable improvements on price and wind turbine availability. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •develop procurement plans with relevant stakeholders and execute successfully •prepare and carry out tendering as well as prepare and negotiate contracts •head implementation Your profile You have a master's or bachelor's degree in in either economics, law, engineering or similar. You have extensive experience with and in-depth knowledge of strategic procurement, tendering, preparing and negotiating contracts within large construction or operational projects. You have expertise within construction law and practice and solid knowledge of EU tender law and FIDIC. As we operate in a highly international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English and German fluently at negotiation level.
