Technology and Service Solutions, Loads, Power Performance & Control Vestas Technology & Service Solutions is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved and tested. To put it short, we are shaping the future of modern energy and we operate on a global scale with more than 1,300 employees. Loads, Acoustics & Control creates wind turbine intelligence and conceptual designs. Within the WTG Development sub department we handle adaptations of generic operation strategy and turbine production control to the individual platforms and products. We handle the load calculations from early stage feasibility studies to finished product and we provide support and maintenance to existing products. Responsibilities Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for: Model based control development Controller tuning and optimization Mechanical modelling Control performance data analysis Prototype turbine testing Qualifications You have a creative approach to new challenges, a natural flair for innovation and you thrive with varied tasks and constant changes from day to day. You succeed as part of a team as well as with independent tasks and it comes naturally to you to collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders. You are result oriented with a strong focus on the task and you are able to meet your deadlines with the right quality. Danish language skills are not mandatory and we welcome international applicants. You have: An M.Sc. Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science Matlab/Simulink experience Knowledge of dynamical mechanical systems 3-6 years relevant experience within wind energy engineering or similar field Hands-on experience with product or technology development You may also have: Technical project management skills Experience with Matlab embedded code Experience with Scripting in Matlab Knowledge of C, C++ and C# Knowledge of Python scripting What we offer We offer an opportunity to be part of a strong team in an exciting business offering very competitive products.
