You become part of the Global Development & Engineering organisation and the Global Projects & Planning function. Here, you join our Strategic Projects and Planning department where we are 4 colleagues responsible for managing project portfolios. We plan and create an overview of capacity and capabilities for 650 colleagues in Global Development & Engineering, and we also coordinate with Program Management and Operations to secure timely delivery and agile development. You refer to Head of Strategic Projects & Planning Joachim Krogshave. ”Strategic Projects & Planning is a small team of highly dedicated colleagues, who work closely with various stakeholders across Grundfos. We each know our core competencies but also help each other, and we need you as our coordinator to ensure structure and an overview of tasks and stakeholders,” Joachim explains. What is the job about? You will be responsible for planning activities within Global Development & Engineering together with 8 planners. You also coordinate with stakeholders across Global Research & Development and Operations. Thus, you create and maintain the yearly Project Portfolio Management (PPM) calendar, ensuring alignment with relevant stakeholders across Business Development and Operations. Moreover, you are responsible for the regular “Business Development Management PPM Material Package”. This means informing the organisation about needed deliveries and deadlines and ensuring that all relevant input is consolidated and available to senior management. You also update SharePoint with committed roadmaps and support the organisation in understanding the deliveries and processes related to Project Portfolio Management in Grundfos. On occasion, one of your tasks will also be to deliver material to various management meetings, provide training support, handle various department tasks and support the Senior Vice President Office on an ad hoc basis. “Your challenge will be to work across the organisation and coordinate tasks, securing deliveries without having a formal mandate to lead and delegate,” Joachim says. What do you need to apply? You hold an AP degree or a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, and you have experience in portfolio and/or project management from a medium-sized company. Now, you are ready to work in a large, global organisation and apply your value chain understanding. Moreover, it is a plus, if you have technical flair and are familiar with SAP. “On a personal level, you possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as you will be working with many different colleagues across the value chain. And you are a great team player, who can create structure and an overview in your team,” Joachim finishes.
