Hvad tilbyder vi? We offer you the chance to manage an international project and engineering department, taking it to an even higher international level than it already is. You will have the opportunity to build the department from scratch as you put your professional touch on our building projects and the support to our facility organizations all over the world. You will lead the Group Project & Engineering department. It is a brand new department consisting of 10 experienced global project managers, engineers and specialists, who have previously collaborated well across the organization and are now gathered into one team. Thus, the foundation has been laid for a well-functioning department, and we expect it to grow further in the future. You will refer to Group Senior Facility Manager Allan Madsen. ”Aside from managing your own team, you will also be a member of our Group Facility Management team together with all the managers that report into me and the Group Senior Director in Facility. So you will get plenty of sparring and input along the way,” Allan explains. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? You will be responsible for handling all projects in our Global Facility organization together with your department. You will receive your input for the different projects primarily from the local and regional facility managers. Together, you will prioritise where and which projects need to be executed globally in order to align direction and prioritisation across borders. In the process, you will match the expectations of relevant project stakeholders and constantly ensure that your team is equipped to handle the incoming projects and tasks. Your job will take a broad scope as it will also cover design engineering by the central, global organization as well as specialist support. To begin with, your primary focus will be to support the Danish facility organization, but your position offers great opportunities to develop the support to an even larger global scale. “Your challenge will be that your department works with a broad spectre of tasks. Having to work within such a broad scope, requires you to constantly develop the competencies of your team so you can handle the required task at any time,” Allan says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You should have a background in engineering or as a senior architect combined with solid project management experience from construction sites. This enables you to understand a complex technical situation and cater to the different needs of our facilities. Moreover, you are an experienced leader who is able to manage highly skilled people with different professions and enable them to work as a team constantly ready to handle new projects and sometimes unexpected tasks. “On a personal level, you need to be structured in order to deliver on our KPIs on multiple projects that run simultaneously, not just in Denmark but also globally. You are also a skilled communicator who can collaborate across the organization. And finally, as the essence of our department is to deliver amazing services, you know how to prepare your team for delivering what is needed at each location,” Allan finishes.
