Would you like to start or develop your career within SCM/logistic in a true global environment ? At Vestas Spares & Tools Planning we are constantly optimizing the supply chain in order to have as low inventory as possible and at the same time deliver on time to our customers. It is an ever developing task in a fast paced environment. Spares & Tools Planning resides in the Service organization department Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Operations. It is overall responsible for the operational planning of the Vestas service supply chain and as such one of the key players is the global team. We are looking for an energetic, well structured Tools Planner with good coordination skills, to join this team. The tool planning department is has a central role in the Vestas supply chain, of coordinating and consolidation demand and supply between wind sites and distribution network. Responsibilities: Coordinate the demand for tools to wind site Follow up with wind sites on return flow of tools Be main interface for planning towards distribution points Optimizing the utilization of tool in network Analyze resource requirements on short and long term Support budget process via forecast, and ensure timely purchasing to level inventory Support the business with ad hoc analysis concerning inventory & delivery Communicate and escalate possible issues in the supply chain to all stakeholders, internal customers and operations Qualifications: Logistics background, experience from working with transport or production planning Solid experience with Microsoft Excel Experience with Primavera is an advantage Experience with SAP is an advantage Competencies: Good communication skills in English Speaking German is an advantage A good team player Good at working structured in a busy environment Extrovert Desire to work in an international environment across cultural borders What we offer: We offer the opportunity to join a multinational company with great prospects in regards to professional and personal development in a position which provides a thorough insight into the Vestas Service Supply Chain Additional information: Primary work location: Aarhus, Denmark WIND.
