Situation:
We have a Danish and Spanish company with each their accountancy firm doing all book keeping in different systems.
we are gathering all receipts and categorising them before sending them to the accountants.
we are also doing all financials reporting themselves in google spreadsheet.

Complications:
A lot of time is wasted on doing things twice and the processes are time consuming and prone to errors.

Solution:
We wish to implement an accounting software that allows us to in-source all book-keeping in Spain and in denmark and soon the US).
The systems has to meet following requirements:
- Cloud based
- Affordable for a startup
- Userfriendly
- Have an app for Iphone and Android to submit receipts on the fly
- Be configurable so we can choose our own categories (i.e. travel, transport, marketing etc)
- Have an english interface
- Be able to accommodate multiple entities and currencies, Spain, Denmark and Later US.
- Be able to generate an output each month for a financial reporting system as a simple csv. Or pdf*
- Have an API so we can integrate with our back office and send our invoices directly as they are being generated and paid.

*The output has to be a simple and show per month how much we’ve spent on:
- Rent
- Utilities & other cost pertaining to rental
- Telephones
- Other taxes, social security/ pensions etc.
- Travel cost and accomodation
- Parking/Transport
- Food and restaurants
- Lunch
- One-time expenses / equipment
- Software subscriptions
- Small purchases / Fees
- External sales
- Lawyer/auditor/funding counsel
- Marketing incl. posters etc.
- Servers
- Other

So we can add it directly into our financial reporting spreadsheet. Remember, we do DKK in Denmark, EUR in Spain. And all revenue are in $ and so are the expenses (in the future) in US.

The project is as following:
- Find the right system for us that can do all of the above. (We really like Waveapp and would prefer this system if it can do all of the above)
- Help set up the Danish and Spanish accounts or entities
- Train our companies founders in how to use the system end-to-end.
- Be available afterwards for troubleshooting and minor adjustments
