Do you have a special culinary talent that you would like to see applied on a daily basis? Are you creative and can bring lots of ideas to the table? Then we need you! Jelling Camping is an exciting place to work. We have 7000 visitors per year, that we receive with a smile and excellent service. It is your task to make Camping Jelling synonymous with Good Food and create culinariy delights that will encourage our guests to come back for more.
Requirements
Jelling Camping is looking for an enthusiastic chef who is keen to attract and satisfy customers of all types. From private individuals to cooking for parties and for corporate events. The restaurant is new and available for the right candidate to shape according to their wishes in agreement with the management.
With a keen eye on quality and attracting new business, the new chef will bring not only cooking and restaurant planning skills, but also business acumen at extensive knowledge of how to build up a quality restaurant from the base up.
As the Jelling Chef you are expected to be highly service orientated, with good energy and be capable of carrying out all meal preparation. You are in charge of the day to day running of the kitchen and the restaurant, including creating the menu, purchasing raw ingredients and foster a good team spirit with waiting staff and other colleagues.
Information
The restaurant is located in the heart of the campsite of Jelling Camping. For pictures please consult the website: www.campingjelling.com. The immediate clientele are the visitors residing at the campsite with a high season quantity of 250 guests per day.
However, we expect our new Chef to develop business opportunities beyond the immediate guests, through arranging special theme days and attracting corporate business and private events. The working hours and opening times will be determined together with the management.
