Are you enthusiastic about IT and would you like to work with IT in a large, modern and growing company? Semco Maritime is looking for an IT support engineer. You will be part of a support team with Danish and Philippine colleagues who are carrying out tasks across all our branches distributed on 11 countries. Your main focus will be to provide onsite support to our offices in Esbjerg. Up to 20 days of travelling per year, primarily to Norway and the UK, is to be expected. You probably have an educational background as an IT Supporter, but you may also be self-taught as long as you have the necessary skills and experience. It is a great advantage if you have a driving licence or are planning to get one soon. Responsibilities: You will work with MS Windows, MS Lync, MS Office, MS SharePoint, Citrix, AutoDESK products, iPhones, Android, visitor registration systems and so much more. Tasks will include: •First-level support and onsite support in cooperation with the Service Desk •Preparation of new IT equipment (PCs, smartphones, VPN equipment etc.) •Supporting our IT Operations group with maintenance tasks •Troubleshooting and installation of IT equipment, networks etc. •Asset and inventory management •Occasional handling of first-line customer calls from the IT Service Desk queue. Your profile: You are customer-minded, thrive under pressure and are good at working with other people. It comes naturally to you to take responsibility, to work independently with your tasks and to complete them on time. You are articulate in written and spoken Danish and English.
