Would you like to work in depth with production technologies in a global environment? And do you want to use your management skills to lead skilled Project Managers from product development over production to end product, thus being part of the whole production concept and project execution life cycle? Then join the Production Concept and Project Execution department, which is part of the Project Organisation supporting Grundfos globally with production process and equipment knowledge of the Grundfos technologies. You will lead a team of approximately 15 colleagues, consisting primarily of Project Managers and Concept Engineers who all possess solid generalist knowledge. You refer to Project Execution Manager, Bjarke Buhl. ”Moreover, you become part of the Management Group of 15 colleagues who spar across different teams and you gain a broad network in Grundfos working with both Product Development as well as our global production sites,” Bjarke explains. What is the job about? As Department Head, you are responsible for creating production concepts for complex projects and get the concepts ready for project execution. You are in charge of the overall project management when a project becomes large scale and needs coordination regarding affiliated projects. Here, you also secure effective project execution and reporting. Thus, you make sure we maintain a high project performance and that the Grundfos Group is supported in the best possible way. You do so by making sure that development and improvement projects are carried out successfully within Development Product & Technology as well as Development Production and affiliate companies. An important part of your job is managing your team in order for the team to reach its success criteria. Thus, you develop the employees and the organisation by coaching, setting targets, executing plans and creating results. In doing so, you follow the Grundfos Leadership Principles and see to it that the right resources andcompetences are allocated to the right projects. Moreover, you are involved in the development of a strategy for Development Engineering together with the Management team. “In this position, your challenge is to work in the intersection between different processes and making sure they run according to plan. Your job may take a bit of a political twist in also making sure that internal collaboration around these projects and processes are adhered to and carried out across the organisation,” Bjarke says. What do you need to apply? Preferably, you have some technical insight combined with a degree in Project Management as well as Management. You have solid experience in managing project managers as well as with strategic management. Preferably, you have experience from a production organisation. You speak and write English fluently. “On a personal level, you are capable of taking decisive action and able to act on many different levels of the organisation. And finally, you know how to maintain an overview of the different processes and projects at hand,” Bjarke finishes.
