About the department.

LM is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation responsible for Novo Nordisk’s local manufacturing projects world-wide. The position

As Director for Projects and Business Development you will be overall responsible for Product Supply’s response to International Operations business ideas. You will take part in developing projects from idea to execution matching the Local Manufacturing project strategies.

 

You will act as key responsible for communicating and negotiation on complete proposals and programmes with internal and external stakeholders. Analysing complex multi-dimensional and cross-functional issues will be on your daily agenda where you will play a significant role for improving, changing or adapting existing methods and techniques.

 

You will be held Accountable for defining the direction for the new processes, setting new standards and outlining the operational plans for executing the projects. It is expected of you to drive a strong performing organization that will successfully manage the project phases as well as contributing to setting direction for your area on a regional a local perspective.

 

As Director it is expected of you to be able to creatively analyse business problems/issues to reach innovative cost-effective and timely decisions. Setting direction and managing projects by providing cross-functional project management in a multi international environment is key to be a success in the role.

 

You will report to senior and executive management across business lines on progress in Local Manufacturing projects and be part of the CVP management team in Local Manufacturing. The position holder will have the managerial, projects and the technical responsibility for the projects in scope. The position is based in Denmark with a high degree of travelling in North Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Russia.

 

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree Engineering or Business. We expect you to have vast experience working with strategy, project management and stakeholder management on senior level an across different cultures. Your project management experiences come from leading global projects which you have done in +8 years.
 

Taking the lead comes naturally to you and you enjoy setting a clear direction and building a positive and strong culture. You are skilled at building relationships and trust as well as having the courage and integrity to take tough and right decisions. You are analytic, persistent and timely as well as able to pay appropriate attention to details when necessary all with a sense of urgency mindset. You are known for being innovative and to take initiatives in a natural way when striving for success for yourself and your team.

 

You have a strategic mindset and a high professional expectation for yourself and your employees. The direction you set is clear and your staff knows what is expected from them to succeed. You find I motivating to be challenged by peers and employees which enables you to proactively strive for a higher performance level. You are ambitious with a high level of drive, initiative and persistency with a high degree of innovative problem-solving skills.

 

It is expected of you to have a high ability to make independent decisions required representing Novo Nordisk in an international context under sometimes challenging conditions due to cultural, national or political restrictions when operating globally in e.g. Algeria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
