About the department The Discovery ADME department is a part of Global Research and our main focus areas are ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Elimination), LC-MS bioanalysis and Proteomics. In total, there are 34 people in the department of which 19 are technicians. The job You will be involved in various aspects of discovery ADME work with primary focus on LC-MS bioanalysis and drug metabolism of peptide drug candidates. You will perform the quantitative bioanalysis and identification of metabolites using Orbitraps, Q-exactives and QTOF LC-MS instruments and you will represent the department in cross-functional project teams. Qualifications You hold a Postgraduate (PhD) degree or have similar experience from the pharmaceutical industry in a scientific area related to LC-MS bioanalysis and have solid hands-on experience with both quantitative and qualitative LC-MS analysis methods. You have experience with LC-MS based drug metabolism studies including in vitro metabolism studies and possibly also with automated work flows on e.g., Tecan robots. A strong background in MS analysis of peptide molecules in biological samples is an advantage but not a requirement. You are flexible, ambitious, focused on results and have a good sense of humour.
