Location Valby Organization Name Group Treasury Department Professional Area Finance Department Description Senior Trade Finance Advisor Brief Description Do you already have extensive and practical knowledge of trade finance products and would you like to be part of a truly global organisation? We are looking for a Trade Finance Advisor to join our Trade Finance team consisting of 4 people belonging to the Group Treasury Department. The team's objective is to advise on and handle trade finance business within the FLSmidth Group. You will report to the head of Group Trade Finance and be based in Valby, Denmark. Detailed Description The Trade Finance team is currently going through a transition aiming at handling the trade finance business globally for the entireGroup. You will play an important role in this transition. Your main tasks are: · Drafting and commenting on Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantee wordings and advising on payment terms/securities in contracts. You will play an active part carrying the advisory role; internally mainly towards Sales, Legal, Project Management and Logistics, and externally towards customers and banks. · Advising our organisation in alignment with the corporate finance guidelines and assist our sales departments in finding attractive financing solutions that benefit both our customers and the Group. · Carrying out trade finance courses internally within the Group. · Contributing to the implementation of a new global multibank trade finance database monitoring Bank Guarantees and Letters of Credit world-wide within the Group. You will be working closely with the rest of the trade finance team, with other group functions and with Sales, Project Management and Logistics within the Group. Travelling may occur. Job Requirements Broad trade finance experience and quality-oriented mindset You hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in financing or similar, and have at least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience with trade finance. You have strong negotiation skills and thrive in a job where you balance working both individually and as a team player. Due to your well-developed ability to keep focus and juggling many tasks concurrently, you are disciplined in meeting deadlines. You are meticulous, service minded, quality-oriented and have flair for working with IT. Besides being fluent in English on negotiation level, skills in French and/or Spanish would be a welcoming contribution.
